The hotel was okay, the room was in good shape but there was not enough lighting, the hotel is in a good location. One of my main concerns is that the TV is locked down so you cannot plug in any HDMI devices into it and use them. The bathroom was in good shape. The hotel got very noisy at around midnight with people running in the corridors which I didn’t appreciate. The staff were very helpful throughout my stay, providing me a plate for my room upon request and telling me everything I need to know.

Excellent hotel in a very central location. Minutes walk from the train station and very easy to reach the city by foot. Staff were so friendly and room was ready well in advance of check in. The gym was very nice also. Room was well appointed and bathroom was great. Was slightly noisy at night time. Overall I would recommend.

We found this gem on booking.com whilst searching for somewhere to stay during my best friends hen do. Pentahotel is such a beautiful place and we enjoyed the shuffleboard and lounge area. Our bedrooms were available 3+ hours early so we were able to check in straight away! Karen was super friendly and couldn't be more accommodating for us. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were super comfy! We spent some time in the lounge area in the evening and the room was beautifully lit and had a great atmosphere. To top it off, there was a singer on and we (obviously) got involved! Check out was 3pm!!! So we had time to go and explore before returning to check out and come home. Thank you so much

This is what I would class as a functional, no-frills hotel. That said, I had a pleasant stay and had everything I needed for my business trip. Plenty of space in the room (slightly overpowering air freshener though!), room was clean. The shower was excellent! Noisy from the outside with the window open, even from the top floor.

Stayed here for work and upon entering my room it stank of cigarette smoke. I called down and explained the issue. I was assigned a twin room as they had no other doubles available and they gave me a complementary drink from the bar which I appreciated. Staff were friendly and the hotel has a great design but found the drinks expensive and the location was a bit too far out for me. It is on a very busy road with not much about.
